Council adopts supplemental appropriations and several resolutions; suspension of rules approved for one ordinance

At its meeting, Bowling Green City Council approved a series of financial and administrative measures with minimal discussion.

Ordinance 9319 (providing supplemental and/or amending appropriations for the 2025 fiscal year) was given second and third readings after a council motion to suspend rules and was adopted following a roll call. The council first voted to suspend the rules for immediate readings and then voted to adopt the ordinance.

The council also adopted Resolution 3891, accepting the amounts and rates determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies to be certified to the county auditor; Resolution 3892, adopting a cybersecurity program to safeguard city data and information-technology resources; and Resolution 3893, authorizing filing of applications with the Ohio Department of Transportation for federal and state grants and executing contracts upon project approval. Each resolution was adopted following motions and roll-call votes recorded by the clerk.
