The board chair called for the vote; the board answered “aye” and the clerk announced, “Vote carries four-zero.”
Immediately following, the board considered a human-resources item labeled “D2 Human Resources Special Action A.” The board recorded a motion from Ms. Gilhausen; an unnamed board member seconded. The board again approved the motion by voice vote, recorded as 4-0.
The board then presented a proclamation (number 26-06) establishing Oct. 23–31, 2025, as Red Ribbon Week in district schools and communities and adopted the consent agenda by a 4-0 voice vote after a motion from Ms. Gilhausen and a second by Mr. Alvaro.
