Local resident, Bryce Holland, asks board to consider him for Dutchess County BOCES board seat

Holland said he attended Arlington Central School District and recently graduated from the University of Virginia. He described his work with the Poughkeepsie Children's Cabinet, a nonprofit collective-impact organization, and said his interest in education stems from his childhood in Poughkeepsie and a desire to address opportunity gaps.
Holland described BOCES programs as key parts of a regional education system that serve students with diverse learning needs. "I believe BOCES serves a vital role in helping students with diverse learning needs to achieve their goals and ultimately realize this dream of socioeconomic mobility for all of our children," he said, and asked for the board's consideration.
