Wellness committee: mental-health expo May 1 and new district therapy dog to begin visits

The committee discussed scheduling to avoid conflicts between clubs and sports.
Delara announced the district's first certified therapy dog, Georgie, completed coursework and will start visiting the high school (including life-skills and transition students) and make visits to elementary and middle schools. The district's stated goal is to have a therapy dog assigned to each school.
