Elections officials told the board that mail-in and absentee ballot applications are still being accepted and that ballot production is nearing completion. The office said it was awaiting resolution of a challenge in the Penn Press School District before finalizing sample ballots and distributing mail ballots. Officials reminded residents that May 5 is the last day to register to vote and that the Voter Services Office will remain open until 5 p.m. that day for in-person registrations.
