Bea, an extern with the City Attorney’s Office and a third-year law student at the University of Denver, told the commission the changes are intended to help boards run meetings efficiently and noted several specific local adaptations added by a 2024 Englewood ordinance to the 2023 edition of Robert’s Rules of Order. "The main goal of this is for you guys to run your meetings efficiently," Bea said, urging commissioners to use the reference material handed out at the meeting.
