Kuna planners table two development cases after traffic-study questions remain

The Kuna Planning and Zoning Commission on April 8 voted to table public hearings on multiple applications while staff obtains additional traffic-impact information.
Staff recommended tabling the sessions for Madrone Village (cases 24-08-AN, 24-05-S and 24-23-DR) after the commission's traffic-related questions were not fully answered. Troy Buchanan, planning staff, said the traffic-related questions that the commission had in order to make a decision were not complete and recommended tabling the items to a date uncertain so the public-notice and hearing process could be repeated once the outstanding work is finished.
Commissioners made and seconded motions to table both the Madrone Village cases and a separate Gallica Heights set of applications (case numbers listed in the record). Both motions carried by voice vote with no recorded opposition in the hearing record. Staff said once the traffic reports and any requested revisions are complete the matters will be re-noticed and brought back to the commission for a full hearing.
