Board extends South Central Coast CalEVIP agreement term to allow completion of two remaining projects

The Ventura County Air Pollution Control Board authorized the air pollution control officer to sign Amendment No. 3 to the CalE‑VIP South Central Coast incentive program implementation agreement with the Center for Sustainable Energy, extending the contract term from Sept. 30, 2025 to Dec. 31, 2025.
Tyler Harris, division manager with the district, told the board the district initially approved $1,605,000 in funding for the South Central Coast CalE‑VIP project. The Center for Sustainable Energy notified the district that two funded projects require additional time to finish construction and activation and requested the term extension. "The Center for Sustainable Energy informed the district that 2 projects will require additional time to be completed and requested this amendment to extend the term to 12/31/2025," Harris said during the presentation.
Staff said the district will continue to administer the grant agreement and ensure contract requirements are met before making any additional grant payments. The board took a motion, seconded it, and approved the amendment unanimously.
