Commission recommends approval of Meadow Grove Estates North Section 10 plat

The Grove City Planning Commission recommended that City Council approve the Meadow Grove Estates North Section 10 plat, which configures 35 lots, creates three reserves and dedicates right-of-way for new roads across a site the staff reported as 22.915 acres.

Development Department staff said the proposed lots meet the lot-size requirements established in the Meadow Grove zoning text and reiterated that approval of the earlier zoning-text amendment related to rear-yard setbacks applied to this section. A representative for the applicant confirmed the staff summary and no members of the public spoke on the item.

During the discussion a commissioner observed that Meadow Grove has been under development for many years and that Section 10 marks the final section of the subdivision; the commissioner said they were “sad to see that it’s coming to an end.” The commission moved and voted to recommend approval to City Council; the roll-call vote recorded unanimous “yes” votes from members present.

The recommendation will go to Grove City Council for final plat approval and subsequent recording.
