Payroll The commission approved the April 5 payroll of $535,200.86 by motion and voice vote.
Regular bills The commission approved payment of county bills in the amount of $98,249.14.
Junction Township appointment The commission accepted the resignation of Raymond (Ray) Campson as Junction Township clerk and approved Mark McCain to fill the unexpired term. The motion carried by voice vote; the new appointee was instructed to complete required paperwork and take the oath of office.
LEC invoices and PBC actions The commission recessed to a PBC meeting to consider project invoices. The board authorized forwarding and payment of two invoices: invoice no. 25-0325 for $1,918,346.95 and invoice no. 2025-44-51207 for $5,537.22. Commissioners specified payment from the LEC fund. Appraiser items The commission later approved Resolution 2025-09 appointing Michelle Rook interim county appraiser and approved a notification to the director of property valuation regarding the resignation of Matthew Booker; both motions passed.
