Bonner Park West closure for Timber Days โ July 26, 2025 Parks and Waterways Director presented a request from the Priest River Chamber of Commerce to close the Bonner Park West parking lot and boat launch on July 26 to host Timber Days. The board approved the closure; the chamber will coordinate signage and public notice, and risk and legal had approved the request per the Parks and Waterways director.
Gold Hill GRAMA grant deobligation (2021 award) The board approved closure and deobligation of Gold Hill grant 21-DG-11010400-018, a project awarded in 2021 and completed in December 2023. The county explained the project was completed under bid and leftover funds cannot be repurposed; the deobligation notifies the Forest Service regional office that the county has finished the project and will return or deobligate remaining federal funds. Roll call recorded affirmative votes from Commissioner Matthews, Commissioner Williams and Commissioner Martin.
