The move followed extended remarks from residents and several council members describing safety problems linked to high-speed electric bikes and “e-motos.” "They fly," Commissioner Erin Wright said, describing teenage riders in neighborhoods and asking that the council consider ordinance language that would bar electric vehicles from parks with multiuse trails such as North Park.
