Lengthy public hearing on House Bill 649 exposes deep split over New Hampshire vehicle inspection program

A long public hearing before the Senate Commerce Committee produced sharply divided testimony on House Bill 649, the proposal that would scale back or eliminate the state’s mandatory vehicle inspection program.
