NYC Parks regional manager schedules April 26 volunteer day to refresh Little Red Square

She said volunteers and local groups, including a first-grade class she often works with, have helped plant bulbs in the past. Flores asked committee members to help spread the word and suggested she would coordinate with local institutional partners; a committee member said she would contact the Little Red Schoolhouse (LREI) about participation.
Committee members said they would distribute the flyer and post details on the community board's website. "I'll send it around to everybody, and I'll make sure that, Mark, puts it up on the, vBoard website," one committee member said.
The announcement was informational; no formal vote or funding decision was taken. Flores asked interested volunteers to use the sign-up link attached to the event flyer and said she would follow up with local groups to coordinate on-the-ground needs.
