City planning update: townhomes, YMCA expansion, new restaurants and comprehensive‑plan meeting on April 24

Staff also reported Moretti’s Pizzeria and Bar is under new ownership and several other businesses opened in March (Furniture and More Wholesale; Greenville Restoration; Old Mill Kitchen and Commissary; Rare Diamonds Academy).
Staff reminded the committee that the consultant-led comprehensive-plan process includes a public drop-in meeting scheduled for April 24 at the senior center to gather resident input. Staff asked that members and the public encourage participation and noted the meeting is an opportunity to comment on long‑range planning priorities.
