Dan said planning for the summer feeding program is in progress, with positions posted and interviews complete; staffing lists will be presented for approval next month. He said four summer feeding locations plus the high school will be open and that the district will continue a remote program and walk-up community sites. "We have we had, ample applicants as well, about 18 actual positions that we fill across, locations during the summer," he said.
The cafeteria manager previewed May limited-time-offer menu items and noted six vacancies remain across the district's foodservice operations. He urged schools and community organizers to book year-end events early because the department fills quickly in May for ceremonies and appreciation weeks.
