However, we do not have a quorum, but we will go ahead and open it up to the public." Because a quorum was not present, no formal votes or official business were conducted.
A resident who identified themselves during the public comment period criticized commissioners for not attending. The resident said, "I'm here all by my lonesome. No commissioners. I don't know what happened with these lame *** commissioners of ours that they can't get their act together and show up for this 1 goddamn meeting." The speaker also shared a flyer announcing a community conversation with Congresswoman Annette Diaz Baragon on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Henry C. Gonzales Auditorium.
No motions were made and no votes were recorded during the session because the advisory board did not have a quorum.
