Plan commission schedules public hearings for two one-lot subdivisions on West Lincoln Highway and Burr Street

At 6523 West Lincoln Highway, petitioner Abdullah Abdelkader of Skyway Real Estate Inc. requested consolidation into a single lot of record to allow a house addition and interior renovation. Staff and commissioners indicated no zoning conflicts if the current C-3/R-3 split remains and advised Abdelkader to schedule a public hearing with planning staff.
At 8407 Burr Street, petitioner Gary Lee Williamson (represented by Barb Stadzinski) requested a one-lot subdivision to "clean up the record" for a deep lot adjacent to recent infill. Commissioners had no objections and asked staff to advertise the public hearing.
Both items were cleared to proceed to the public hearing stage; no formal votes were taken on final subdivision approval during the study session.
