Board ratifies multiple personnel recommendations after executive session
Summary
After returning from executive session the board approved a slate of certified and support personnel actions, contract renewals, principal and coach recommendations and administrative salary amendments as listed on the posted schedules.
After returning from executive session, the Edmond Board of Education approved a series of personnel recommendations presented in the meeting packet.
The board voted to approve certified personnel actions listed on Schedule A and support personnel actions listed on Schedule B. Trustees also approved renewal of employment contracts for teaching and other certified staff for the 2025–26 school year, as recommended by site administrators and subject to assignment by the superintendent.
The board approved recommendations for multiple building-level appointments and coaching positions, including Charles Haskell elementary school principal (recommended: Dr. Angela Mays), high school assistant principal (recommended: Keeli Gilpin), middle school assistant principal (recommended: Dana Williams), and several athletics and activity coach recommendations (Edmond Santa Fe boys basketball coach Terry Evans; Edmond Santa Fe girls basketball coach Madison Moore; Edmond North girls head wrestling coach Colby Robinson). Trustees also approved a controller recommendation (Shelley Letts Wilson) and voted to approve the administrative salary amendments presented.
Board members confirmed that no votes were taken while in executive session and that the approvals were taken in open session as posted on the agenda.
