The project, an overhaul of an existing station at the northeast corner of Walton and Adams, proposes consolidating driveways, upgrading landscaping and providing four pump islands (eight pumps). Planning staff said the current site is 0.83 acres and the present building is about 1,200 square feet; the proposed new structure is roughly 5,300 square feet. Planning Commission recommended approval, and the council approved the conditional use by a 6–1 vote.
