Council appoints members and selects chairs for local boards and commissions

For the Planning and Zoning Commission, the council appointed Cheryl Corson to an alternate position by a motion from Councilmember Allen, seconded by Councilmember Clark, which passed 6-0 with Mr. Finch absent.
The council also made appointments to the Board of Adjustment. Councilmember Adam (surname as spoken in the record) moved to appoint Cody Quinnie and Robin Raju as alternate members and to reappoint Deborah Pandian McKay; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Eldridge and passed 6-0 with Mr. Finch absent.
For leadership positions, Councilmember Allen moved to nominate Jim Wade as chair and Jordan Lewis as vice chair of the Board of Adjustment; the motion was seconded by Dr. Woodrow and passed 6-0 with Mr. Finch absent. On the Planning and Zoning Commission, Allen moved to appoint Jerry Johnson as chair and Kevin Points as vice chair; that motion was seconded and passed 6-0 with Mr. Finch absent.
