Regional planning staff roll out interactive TIP dashboard showing $10M in projects for 2026–29

Officials from the Lima‑Allen County Regional Planning Commission presented an interactive online dashboard for the 2026–2029 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) at the April 7 Lima City Council meeting.
Rebecca Phillips, executive director, and Colleen Berry, senior planner and RTPO manager, described the dashboard as an interactive map and data tool that shows regionally significant projects, project years, costs and categories. Berry said the MPO had about $10,000,000 to suballocate to projects in the 2026–2029 TIP cycle and that the dashboard was intended to make public comment and project review easier and more transparent.
Berry demonstrated how users can zoom to projects, view costs and descriptions, and filter by project type (signalization, roundabouts, bridges, resurfacing, widening, etc.). She said the public participation portion of the TIP was underway and noted the public comment window would close in four days from the meeting.
The planning commission said the dashboard and a mobile app version are available on their website (lacrpc.com under projects) and invited council members and residents to review projects and contact the commission with questions.
What happens next: The MPO will finalize the TIP and submit the completed document to ODOT per normal timelines; public comments submitted via the dashboard will be reviewed as part of the adoption process.
