Supervisors approve nondisclosure agreement with statewide IT partners; routine reports accepted; board enters closed session

The Worth County Board of Supervisors approved a nondisclosure agreement between Worth County, the Iowa State Association of Counties and Iowa County Technology Services intended to support ongoing software work.
A supervisor introduced the NDA and asked for a motion to approve it. "This is the update for us," a supervisor said of the county's move to stay with statewide technology to save costs. A motion and second were made and the board approved the nondisclosure agreement by voice vote.
The board also moved to approve routine reports: sheriff's reports, auditor reports and the courts/clerk/recorder schedules. One supervisor moved the reports, another seconded, and the motions carried by voice vote.
Near the end of the meeting a supervisor moved that the board go into closed session. The motion was seconded. The board took a roll-call vote and Supervisors Loberg, Stone and Sandy each voted "aye," and the board recessed into closed session.
Ending: The board approved the NDA and routine reports and subsequently approved a motion to enter closed session with a roll-call vote.
