After a presentation from Human Rights Officer Chris Graves about the flag's history and the approvals required, Chairman John Calconley moved that the commission recommend staff seek approvals to develop a resolution directing the city manager to fly the Disability Pride Flag at City Hall and other city facilities in July 2025 and annually thereafter on July 26, the ADA anniversary. Chris Graves told the commission that "a simple majority" would be required for the recommendation to proceed through the city's review process.
