Daggett County commissioners approved minutes from three March meetings and discussed final steps in a pending property transfer to the county's Municipal Building Authority (MBA) for a clinic site, officials said during the April 1 commission meeting.
The commission voted to approve minutes for the March 11, March 18 and March 25 commission and RDA meetings. The votes were called for and recorded during the meeting; the chair called for the voice votes and the clerk recorded affirmative votes.
County staff said the vacation of a right‑of‑way has been completed and that transfer of the clinic property from the county to the MBA still requires final signatures and attachment of two exhibits to the resolution. Staff said the legal description and the final plat map for the clinic parcel are complete; the plat must be recorded and the exhibits attached to the resolution before the transfer is finalized.
Martin (staff) told commissioners he had sent the legal description and that the plat describes approximately 1.03 acres for the parcel being transferred; staff planned to provide the documents for signature before the commission recessed. Bart (staff) offered a view of the planned parcel layout and said the plat would be delivered to staff for recording.
The commission recessed for the MBA meeting at 9:17 a.m. and planned to return after the MBA business was complete.
