The Daggett County Commission voted to accept the county and RDA cash summary and accounts receivable report dated March 27, 2025, approved the county open invoice register with a run date of March 28, 2025 (run posted April 1, 2025), accepted a disbursement summary for March 24–28, 2025, and authorized a sole‑source purchase request for a wage and job analysis in the amount of $5,000.
The measures were moved and seconded during the April 1 meeting and approved by voice vote. An unnamed commissioner said, “I'll make the motion,” when introducing the cash‑summary item. County staff described remaining follow‑up on reimbursements and grant billing related to the sewer plant, DWQ loan, search and rescue, EMPG and a lead‑and‑copper project, and said some submissions were still awaiting agency responses.
County staff explained administrative details tied to the open invoice and disbursement registers. Carrie (county staff) described how a small number of checks were voided and reissued so payees matched W‑9s submitted to the county: “I set it up to be paid to the individual, not realizing that I should have sent them a w 9 form, and then the check would go out, to the name that they put on the w 9. So a couple of the checks needed to be voided and then a new check issued to them to make it match their w 9 and their business name.”
The commission also approved a personnel purchase request and associated sole‑source form to Personnel Systems and Services Inc., d/b/a Mike Swallow, for a wage and job analysis in the amount of $5,000. The request was presented as sole source because the vendor previously performed similar work for the county.
