Ivins proclaims April as National Volunteer Month; city recognizes volunteer groups and appoints new Arts Commissioner

Mayor Chris Hart and Councilmember Barton thanked individual volunteers and invited recipients forward for certificates and a group photograph.
The council then considered Arts Commission recommendations for the Art on Loan program. Arts staff presented six pieces recommended for loan to city facilities, including two large‑format works and a public‑scale sculpture. Council approved the Arts Commission's selections.
Finally the council approved Resolution 2025‑04R appointing Patty Dupre to the Arts Commission. At the roll call the council recorded approval and welcomed Dupre; the mayor and several commissioners praised her volunteer energy and local experience.
