During the public hearing, nearby resident Jerry Armstrong thanked the city for protecting vistas and urged proactive adherence to the general plan's view-protection goals. The Planning Commission discussed other visible construction equipment such as pods and said the petitioner had committed to moving them to minimize viewshed impacts.
Pam reported the Planning Commission approved the amendment, finding that the applications satisfied access to utilities, relocation and screening requirements, and that the amended locations addressed prior concerns.
