FPC adopts consent agenda, approves eligible lists and promotions; full vote list

By general consent the commission approved minutes and a slate of administrative items on the consent agenda, including approval of the March 20, 2025 meeting minutes (FPC 212,011); two appointments to a crime analyst I position (FPC 212,012); job announcement bulletins for a police district administrative assistant and a building maintenance supervisor (FPC 212,013 and FPC 212,014); eligible lists for an emergency communications project manager and a video system specialist (FPC 212,015 and FPC 212,016); and a referral to the Department of Employee Relations to request an exam and eligible list for electronic technician supervisor for the Milwaukee Police Department (FPC 212,017).
The commission also approved by motion and voice vote the police aid eligible list (FPC 212,018) and the police officer eligible list (FPC 212,019). Commissioners asked when the next police-officer class would start; staff said a class began March 31 and the next class is expected in August. Commissioners also asked staff to provide data on how many eligible-list candidates claim residency preference points.
