The City of Cody Planning and Zoning Adjustment Board on April 3, 2025, approved a permanent sign plan for Devon Wolf Custom Jewelry at 1309 Sheridan Avenue, replacing a temporary banner with a metal-faced wall sign.
Interim Community Development Director and city planner Yutona Dye told the board the proposed sign would measure 4 feet tall by 6 feet wide (approximately 24 square feet), be constructed of aluminum and be mounted on the wall above the awning. "They are replacing the temporary banner and replacing it with the new metal sign, and it will be the exact same size," Dye said.
Staff said the board had previously approved a temporary banner on Nov. 12, 2024, and asked the applicant to return with a permanent permit at the end of six months. Because the permanent sign matches the temporary banner in size and placement, staff recommended approval.
Board member Dan moved to approve the sign plan; Ian seconded. The board voted in favor and the motion carried unanimously.
The approval permits the applicant to install the new aluminum sign at the same dimensions and location as the previously approved temporary banner. No additional conditions were recorded.
