Board approves rezoning to unify 40-acre Brunswick parcel

The request, filed by landowners Chris Phillips and Kylene Myron, would change a 1.77-acre area currently zoned Agriculture Preservation to Agriculture Residential, aligning it with the remainder of the 40-acre parcel located south of town near Betts Road and Highway 37. The Town of Brunswick supported the request and the Planning and Development Committee recommended approval by a 5-0 vote.
Supervisor Beckfield moved the ordinance and Supervisor Jenkins seconded it. Supervisor Myron abstained from the vote; the board approved the rezoning 26-0 with one abstention.
