Finance committee approves Cummins generator and consultant task order for High Point MPO plan

Councilman Bridal Moore convened the meeting at City Hall and moved approval of both items after brief presentations from staff. Fleet Services Director Kevin Rogers described the need for backup power to keep vehicles and equipment operable during inclement weather, saying Fleet Services “does function on a 24/7 basis during these events” and therefore requires reliable standby power.
