The City of St. Augustine Corridor Review Committee on April 3 completed routine business items and held its annual reorganization. The committee approved meeting minutes and the meeting agenda, then elected Von Cochran as chair and Lorna McDonald as vice chair.
At the start of the meeting staff called the roll and the committee approved the minutes and agenda by voice vote. The transcript contains an inconsistency about which past meeting’s minutes were approved (staff initially asked for approval of minutes from November 7 and a member moved to approve minutes from April 7); the record does not clearly reconcile that discrepancy. Staff later confirmed no public comments or written communications had been received on certain items.
For reorganization, staff said the committee was down to two active members and that the city clerk will post a vacancy and an application deadline; the City Commission will review applications and appoint a replacement. Committee members agreed to self‑nominate; the committee voted to elect Von Cochran chair and Lorna McDonald vice chair by voice vote. The committee adjourned following a brief remembrance of a former member, Mr. Dixon, and a motion and second to adjourn.
Staff said the clerk will post the vacancy and accept applications for the CRC seat; the City Commission will make the appointment.
