The Minnesota DNR grant under consideration at the meeting is for $350,000; the mayor said city staff (including parks staff member Zach) expect to allocate part of those dollars toward playground equipment for the park. The mayor noted that playground equipment costs are high and thanked staff for pursuing multiple funding sources.
Council then approved the consent agenda by voice vote. The motion to approve consent was moved by Council Member Garza and seconded by Council Member Claussen.
