At its Feb. 26 meeting, the Clermont County Board of Commissioners approved a series of routine financial and contract items by roll call, including a vendor payment resolution, personnel pay-range updates, competitive-bid notices and contract extensions.
The board approved a resolution to pay vendors a total of $1,000,919.88 as outlined in the BCC approval invoice report dated Feb. 26, 2025, and authorized the county auditor to issue warrants in compliance with section 319.16 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Commissioners also approved amendments to the county's classification plan that reassign pay ranges for two positions: the Clermont County Transportation Connection director from pay range D to E, and the director of utilities from pay range H to I.
The board authorized the advertisement of a request for bids for annual preventive maintenance and repair of approximately 90 auxiliary generators at county lift stations, wastewater treatment plants and water facilities. The three-year contract was estimated in the staff presentation to total about $200,000.
The board approved execution of a professional services contract with Jones & Henry Engineers (Cincinnati) for engineering design services for the McLean Lehi Station improvements project (project no. 6402-60253) in Union Township, not to exceed $116,612, with an estimated design schedule of 205 calendar days after notice to proceed.
The commissioners authorized a one-year extension of an existing SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system integration and support services contract with Rouden Myers, Inc., through May 30, 2026, and approved a one-year extension of a contract with Tidewater Products, Inc. for polymer used in biosolids dewatering through May 4, 2026.
The board also approved appointments and reappointments to the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council for terms ending Dec. 31, 2028. The reading of that item cited compliance with section 5,149.34 of the Ohio Revised Code and listed dozens of appointees and designees from county offices, courts and partner agencies.
Finally, the board approved a supplemental appropriation of $15,000 to the juvenile court special projects other expenses line for calendar year 2025.
Each item was read into the record and approved by motion and roll call. The meeting record does not list individual yes/no tallies for every member on every motion in the transcript segment; approval was recorded at each roll call recorded in the meeting.
