Rocco O’Neil of the Community Development Department described the payment as the final retainage after the required advertising period and said, as stated at the meeting, “It’s $13,008.41 and 61¢ less,” characterizing that amount as savings from the final payment. The council voted to approve the final payment and close the project.
The council also approved lawful discharge hours for fireworks on Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5, from 5 p.m. to midnight.
