A county staff member said Carol Zimmerman is no longer serving on the Milford Library board and that Janice Stallion Stallery requested to fill the vacancy. A motion to approve the appointment was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
The county’s procurement/operations staff requested permission to issue RFPs for business furnishings because the anticipated expenditure falls under the county procurement threshold of $50,000. Staff also provided an update on the Justice Building renovations: Phase 9 (basement) was expected to be completed around March 6 and Phase 10 (south end meeting rooms, restrooms and hallways) was expected by April 15. Commissioners authorized issuing the RFPs by voice vote.
No dollar total for the furnishings was provided at the meeting; staff noted the procurement process requires RFPs for expenditures under $50,000 per county policy.
