He told the House the bill reflected about $12.7 billion in all-source appropriations, included reductions to FY2025 budgets of $93 million, and provided appropriations of $287 million for FY2026 from all sources. Among the items he listed were teacher pay increases (a $1,400 direct raise in addition to a 4% inflationary adjustment), a 2.5% raise and 1% bonus for state employees, investments in state facilities and a deposit of $145 million into the rainy-day fund.
