St. Joseph County approves Eventide 911 recorder, $174,874 contract for PSAP

The St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners on March 11 approved a three-year contract to replace the county’s emergency call recorder with an Eventide system distributed by Nelson Systems.
The recorder contract, presented by PSAP staff member Nick Brovold, totals $174,873.95 and will be paid over two years in roughly equal installments of about $87,436.98 per year, Brovold said. Commissioners voted unanimously to approve the contract.
