Council updates town personnel hourly rate fee schedule; approves 2025 resolution

The Tiburon Town Council voted unanimously April 2 to adopt an updated town personnel hourly rate fee schedule and resolution, replacing the town’s 2015 schedule. Staff said the update is periodically required so the town can recover staff time and administrative costs when staff are assigned to chargeable projects.
Staff noted the existing resolution dated 2015 does not include many current staff positions and that the 2025 update attaches a contemporary rate table to the staff report. There was no public comment on the item.
The motion to approve the personnel hourly rate fee schedule passed by roll call: Council member Fredericks: yes; Council member Nick Farr: yes; Council member Ryan: yes; Vice Mayor Wellner: yes; Mayor Holly Thier: yes.
Implementation: Town staff said the updated schedule will be used to calculate recoverable costs on future projects and will be reflected in billing and budgeting processes.
