Council Member McCosker's amendment to item 12 added the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) as a reporting body, required the report to include the cost to increase weekly inspections and asked that reports return in 30 days. For item 13 the amendment requested the report include policy recommendations for ordinances, rules or regulations related to tank maintenance and distancing; both amendments included 30-day reportbacks.
Items 4 and 9 were taken for separate votes and each passed 4-1. For item 4 the roll call recorded Council Member McCosker as voting yes; Council Member Sotomayor Martinez recorded a no vote and the item passed 4 ayes, 1 no. Item 9 likewise passed 4 ayes, 1 no. The committee then proceeded to other agenda items.
