Planning commission approves February 5 meeting minutes; one abstention

The Cerritos Planning Commission approved the minutes of its Feb. 5, 2025 meeting during the April 2 session. Commissioner Auel said she had watched the recording and moved to approve the minutes; Commissioner Chowhan seconded.
Director Aguilar reminded newly appointed commissioners that those who had watched the video or attended the Feb. 5 meeting were eligible to vote on the minutes; otherwise they should abstain. The roll call vote recorded Commissioner Al and Commissioner Chowhan voting yes, Chair Gloria Polito voting yes, and Vice Chair Armin Reyes abstaining. The motion carried by a vote of 3 to 0 with one abstention.
Director Aguilar conducted the vote and noted the commission would proceed to the remainder of the agenda.
