Miami-Dade selects former FDOT district chief Stacy Miller as DTPW director, to start April 7

Miami-Dade County commissioners on Thursday confirmed Stacy Miller as the next director of the county’s Department of Transportation and Public Works. Miller is scheduled to join the county on April 7.

Mayor Daniella Levine Cava introduced Miller as the mayor’s nominee and highlighted her transportation career at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) going back to 1991, including service as District 6 secretary where she managed planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of state highways in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.
