Fiscal staff listed the accounts to be closed as recommended: the Office of State Historic Preservation (Account 4205), the Comstock Historic District (Account 5030), the Account to Restore the Sagebrush Ecosystem (Account 4156) including Appropriations Act language that allows funds to be transferred within the same account with Interim Finance Committee approval, the Environmental Quality Improvement account (Account 4116), the Account for Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV, Account 4285), DCNR—s Nevada Tahoe Regional Planning Agency support account (Account 4166), Nevada Natural Heritage (Account 4101), and the Division of Outdoor Recreation (Account 4180).
Justin Luna presented the recommended closings and noted a small number of other closing items in some accounts; fiscal staff requested authority to make technical adjustments as necessary. Chair Taylor moved to adopt the package as read by staff; Assemblymember Brown May seconded. The motion carried by voice vote without recorded opposition.
The Appropriations Act language continuation in the Account to Restore the Sagebrush Ecosystem was specifically noted in the closing packet.
