Englewood staff preview April'May council agendas, flag pension board, code cleanups, comp plan and energy projects

City Manager Sean Lewis and staff on April 2 reviewed items for Englewood City Council meetings in April and May, flagging several items for study sessions, public hearings and first readings including a resolution to appoint members to a newly created Englewood retirement pension board, municipal code cleanups, a comprehensive plan update and several utility and redevelopment proposals.

The overview began with City Manager Sean Lewis noting the April 7 agenda: "We'll start with April 7," followed by study sessions on a preliminary 2026 revenue and expenditure forecast and a presentation from an Englewood High School Sister Cities delegation about a March 2025 trip to Belm, Germany. Lewis also identified a resolution to appoint members to a newly created Englewood retirement pension board and a pump-station project agreement at Bridal Tee Golf Course among items scheduled for the regular agenda.
