Council adopts consent agenda items and appoints alternate to Planning Commission

Consent items approved without substantive discussion included: - Facility use agreement with Raw Honey for honeybees at Lusher Farm (item 6.1). - Ordinance ANX 2957 to annex one parcel (0.23 acres) at 16523 Bonaire Avenue and apply R-7.5 zoning (item 6.2). - Adoption of findings, conclusions and orders for the tree-removal appeal (TR49924001007) at 233 E Avenue (item 6.3). - Resolution 25-08 establishing an ad hoc Tree Task Force related to a council goal (item 6.4).
Councilor Ruppin moved to adopt the consent agenda; Councilor Burdick seconded. The motion passed on a 7-0 vote.
Separately, the council adopted Resolution 25-15 to appoint an alternate to the Planning Commission. The motion to adopt Resolution 25-15 was made by Councilor Corrigan and seconded by Councilor Verde. The motion carried with six votes in favor and one abstention (recorded as the mayor), recorded as 6-0 with one abstention.
