The Show Low City Council unanimously authorized the purchase of an AquaFlow International Inc. automated self‑serve bulk water loading station for the city shop.
Staff said the FY2025 budget included a self‑serve bulk water station and identified AquaFlow International Inc., of Flagstaff, as the sole vendor that specializes in automated bulk water payment systems. Staff described the motivation as simplifying single‑truckload transactions—avoiding the time needed to set up a bulk meter, collect deposits and return meters—and reducing staff administrative hours. The station accepts credit or debit cards and can operate without staff on site.
Staff said the station will be located off Thornton at the city shop in the fenced old yard and will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Councilman Whipple moved the purchase in the amount not to exceed $57,222.85 and Councilman Hatch seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
