Council approves purchase of decorative street lights for North Eleventh Street corridor

To improve delivery efficiency, staff proposed one purchase order for all lights in the corridor and related future parking‑lot improvements. Staff identified funding within the street CIP improvements budget and requested the purchase through the cooperative Sourcewell contract (number 091422‑WES). The quote from West Coast Distribution totaled $154,822.40.
Council members expressed support for the project and noted the work had already started in the area. The motion to purchase the lights and authorize associated budget transfers passed unanimously.
