Staff said the unit will allow a three‑person crew to perform restorative maintenance rather than rely on cold patching.
- Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) "Open Roads" policy resolution: The board approved a resolution prioritizing clearing travel lanes during incidents and enabling a competitive grant application for cones/flares to support fire rescue.
- Georgia Tree Council Relief Grant award: The board accepted a $1,500 grant to purchase 100 native trees for an Arbor Day tree giveaway; the county provided a $1,500 cash match and $1,156.32 in in‑kind match.
- Senior Center congregate meals contract (Coastal Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging): The board approved renewal of the FY2026 congregate meal contract under the area agency on aging; meals are provided by Bank House Creative Catering and staff reported no complaints.
