Seven Hills schedules fall festival Oct. 4; planning underway for holiday programs

The Seven Hills community-services committee heard a brief update about upcoming seasonal events, including a fall festival scheduled for Oct. 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. on the grounds of Seven Hills City Hall.
Director Tony Terry told the committee the department has begun planning the children’s Christmas party, the Yuletide event and the Adopt-a-Family program. He said program details and opportunities to participate will be distributed in an upcoming city newsletter.
Council members asked for the festival’s hours and when Adopt-a-Family information would be available. Terry said the fall festival runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and that Adopt-a-Family details would be included in the next newsletter upon its issuance.
The committee had no further questions and adjourned shortly after the update.
